No surprise here.  Robert Griffen III has been named NFC Offensive Player of the Week for his performance against the Eagles.  He’s also up for Air and Rookie player of the week, which he’s won multiple times already this year.

In other news, S Brandon Meriweather has been placed on injury reserve and the Skins signed free agent CB Jerome Murphy.  Murphy played 14 games last year in his rookie year, was acquired by the Saints, waived then the Lions, then released.

The biggest news for the Redskins is Thanksgiving.  They’re facing the Cowboys tomorrow.  Will talk more of that then as I have much to say about that game!
