Rams must pound and ground

The Rams face the Minnesota Vikings and Adrian “All Day” Peterson on Sunday. Peterson has been the most dominating player in football this year and seems to be unstoppable. Can the Rams stop him? I doubt it. Can the Rams slow him down? Possibly.

I really believe that Steven Jackson and the Rams running game gives them the best chance to win Sundays game. The best way to stop Adrian Peterson from running all day on you is…to keep him off the field. If the Rams can control the clock and pound and ground the ball with Jackson, they have a very good chance at winning this game.

Another key to victory for the Rams is pass defense. Every time the Vikings drop back to pass make them pay. Christian Ponder is a marginal quarterback at best. And if the Rams defensive line can keep him raddled, he will throw the secondary a gift. Also if the Rams special teams can come up with one or two big plays, that can also increase their chances of winning.

My predictions is, the Rams win a close game on Sunday as they make a push for the playoffs.
