The St. Louis Rams are looking forward to ending this season with a winning record, for the first time since 2003. The Seattle Seahawks are playing for a chance to win the NFC west. This will be a very hard fought game between two divisional rivals. A win against the playoff bound Seahawks would be great explanation point to a bounce back season for the Rams, under new head couch Jeff Fisher.
The Seahawks are looking to keep their train rolling into the playoffs with a win against a non-playoff team. A win against the Rams would be a great momentum booster for the Seahawks, and it would be even sweeter if the 49ers manage to lose, which would deliver the division title to the Seahawks.
This game will be a battle between two great running backs. One back is looking to solidify his career as one of the best power backs in football. The other back is looking to solidify himself as the best power back in today’s game. This may be Steven Jackson last game as a professional football player. Jackson stated that he would rather leave the NFL like Berry Sanders in good health instead of stumbling out of the NFL. I look for Jackson to have a great game in what mite be his last NFL game.
The Rams have a good chance at winning this game, simply because they have played very well against division foes. The Seahawks have been averaging over 50 points a game in the last three weeks and look unbeatable. I don’t believe that the Hawks will score 50 on the Rams, in fact I believe this game will be very close, with a slim chance of a Rams victory.
Lets keep in mind the Rams did beat the Seahawks in week 4 and if you can do it once you can do it twice. For the sake of excitement the Rams win 24- 21 to end their season 8-7-1.
