This could be a long shortened season for the Caps

Three nights after being embarassed in the opening game 6-3 by Tampa Bay the Caps did not seem to do much better tonight as they drop their home opener to the Winnipeg Jets 4-2. The loss tonight ended a streak of ten straight home opener wins for the Caps. It also marks the Caps fourth straight loss to the Jets dating back to last season. The NBA All Star starters were named last week and for the most part the fans did a decent job of selecting the players who deserved to be there. It’s a flawed system so perfection can’t be expected.
