Jazz to much for Wolves

The Utah Jazz were on the road tonight to take on the injury plagued Timberwolves. They were scrappy and kept it close a good majority of the game. Despite a depleted team the Wolves came to play. Derrick Williams had 24 points and a career-high 16 rebounds maybe a small reminder why he was chosen number two overall in his draft class. Ricky Rubio played perhaps his best game since his knee injury just one rebound shy of a triple double. Pekovic was tough as usual adding 19 points and 13 boards, not to mention Luke Ridnour who had 18 points. Despite all of this it was not meant to be.
Former Timberwolve Big Al Jefferson put up a double-double with 20 points and 11 boards. Paul Millsap scored 21 points. Enes Kanter who the Wolves considered drafting ahead of Derrick Williams added 10 and DeMarre Carroll chipped in 11 points and 5 rebounds. All in all it was personally a better game than I thought it would be and I tip my hat to the Timberwolves but tonight belonged to the Utah Jazz continuing to fight for a much coveted playoff spot.
