Am I elated or sceptical? Robert Griffin III has been officially cleared to practice. He posted this on his Twitter: “Doctors cleared me to practice. Coach is going to ease me in. Thank you for your support & See you in Richmond.” He will not start on the PUP list. It’s only been 6 months since his surgery and he’s practicing. Wow and Wow. I really hope that even with being “cleared” that he’s not “ready” to actually play. His top priority is getting rid of the ball and sliding. Unfortunately we’re not going to see the 30+ yard runs anymore but who am I to speculate. I love to see this guy play and if that means waiting until October, which I hope he does wait, it’ll be a thing of beauty!

Written by Mercedes Green
I lived in Greene County Virginia for about 5 years of my childhood. This span of time was enough to imprint the love of the Washington Redskins (and hate of the Dallas Cowboys) into my life forever, even though I am Canadian and still live in Canada. I am in no way an expert on sports, football, or even the Redskins, but I do absolutely adore them, their fans and their home state(s). My favourite Redskin is and will always be Darrell Green (not because we share the same last name lol). I've adored Chris Cooley since he joined the team from the 2004 draft and love London Fletcher. Hail to the Redskins! See you October 30th in my home town of Toronto.
