The Redskins home opener in on Monday Night Football against the Eagles and Robert Griffin III is starting. How is this even possible? I still have the images of him going down with that horrible knee injury in January and 8 months later he’s taking on MNF. Too soon? Too much? I think yes, but I’m not RG3. He is determined to play so we all just have to sit back and watch what happens. RG3 did not play at all during their 4-0 preseason so expect a little bit of rust out there. Hopefully we’ll see short
runs, throw aways or sliding. That’s the only way to keep safe and healthy.
RG3 can only protect himself so many times. The key to his health is the offensive line. The Redskins have all 5 starting OL players from last year so they’re tight. Alfred
Morris was amazing last year at RB so he will also take the pressure off of RG3. The defense has their work to do against the Eagles offense and Vick.
Vick is also a wild card.

I lived in Greene County Virginia for about 5 years of my childhood. This span of time was enough to imprint the love of the Washington Redskins (and hate of the Dallas Cowboys) into my life forever, even though I am Canadian and still live in Canada. I am in no way an expert on sports, football, or even the Redskins, but I do absolutely adore them, their fans and their home state(s). My favourite Redskin is and will always be Darrell Green (not because we share the same last name lol). I've adored Chris Cooley since he joined the team from the 2004 draft and love London Fletcher. Hail to the Redskins! See you October 30th in my home town of Toronto.
