First road trip of the season. The longhorns will be playing in a hostile environment. The Longhorns really play well away from home for some reasonn. Well, I hope they are ready for the altitude and a high octane offense led by RB Williams over 1000 yards last year and over 100 yards last week in the lost to Virgina. The offense is lead by sophmore quarterback, Taysom Hill. he is a good runner that keeps defenses on their heals and not a bad passer. The offense better be prepared to run the ball against a very good run defense. Held Virginia to less than 3 yards rushing in a win. I am not sure which back is going to start. The have at least five good backs. The problem they will run into is getting them all playing time. Hard to do in a hurry up ofense. This may causes problems in the future and be good to see how the coaching staff handle it. Kinda of interesting to see Malcom Brown used more as a reciever back. And the freshmen Overstreet ran well last week. Still need to get Joe B. and J. Gray in the game. One could thing hopefully less injures in the backfield with all the depth. Texas has a very good offense. Great deal of speed and scoring threats in skilled postions. The challange will be keeping them all invovled and focus. I think the offensive line will be better this year still curious how they will handle good rushing Defensive. I think they will do a good job protecting Ash in the pocket. And can Ash can play better? He will have to if he wants to win the Big 12. He has shown he can work of the early games mistakes and pull togehter to win a game. But, remember that was against New Mexico state. Not so sure if that would be the case aginst OU. This should be a good test defensively and offensively for the Longhorns. BYu had one of the best defensive in the country last year. Lost two players to the NFL and led by linebacker,Kyle Noy. Offensively, BYU hopes for the return of their top receiver,Cody Hoffman which has been slowed by injuried hamstring. It is going to be important for the linebackers to control the middle in efforts of grounding BYU's run game. Same old story have to make sure tackles, if not Williams will rush for over two hundred yards. Last year Texas rush defense gave almost 200 hundred yards. I personally like to see that figure closer to 100 yards. The D line most dominate an not allow the blockers to get to the linebackers. Texas secondary played well last week with one interception and failed to give any big pass plays. With this win Mack will tie the great Woody HAyes 10th on the list. Texas should win by two touchdowns but must play discpline game on both sides of the ball.
