Week 2 Preview: Redskins and Packers

Posted By Mercedes Green On Sep 13 2013 @ 9:14 am In Washington Redskins | No Comments

The Washington Redskins travel to Lambeau Field on Sunday to meet the Packers.  Both teams are reeling from a loss last week and both have something to prove.  The Redskins, media and fans have focused everything on when RG3 will be back to his 2012 self, but everyone needs to realize that he may never be that again.  The 2012 Robert
“allowed” his injuries to happen because he didn’t protect himself.  The coaches didn’t protect him.  He’s learned, hopefully, and needs to play like a QB not a RB.  He’s going to be different; He has to be.  He’s still going to be amazing just in different ways that we shall see soon enough.  Remember:  Operation Patience.

The Redskins running game was weak last week so they need to turn that around immediately if they have any hope while RG3 is working things out.  The receivers cannot drop any more passes and no more fumbles; That’s just unacceptable.

As for the Defense?  Brandon Meriweather should be back this week, Ryan Kerrigan did not get a concussion, Orakpo is healthy, so there’s no issues there.  They just need to meld together better.

Here’s the Injury Report.
