20th ranked Wisconsin enters today’s game against Arizona State having blown out their first two opponents by a combined score of 93-0. Today’s game against the Sun Devils will resemble an actual football game against a formidable opponent instead of simply a scrimmage against an inferior opponent as the first two weeks proved to be for Wisconsin.
Coach Anderson has the Badgers offense pounding the ball the Wisconsin way these first two weeks having multiple running backs rushing for over 100-yards in each of the first two games.
The Badgers and Sun Devils come into today’s game ranked number 1 and 2 statistically in total defenses, with Wisconsin allowing 162.5 yards and the Sun Devils allowing 167 yards. The Badgers defense has not allowed a TD in 11 straight quarters.
The tempo of the game should be must faster as Coach Tod d Graham runs a spread offense.
The Temperature for today will be warm, getting up to 103 degrees. The last meeting between these two teams was in 2010 at Camp Randall where Wisconsin pulled out a 20-19 win with a blocked extra point.
