Brady Is Coming To Town

The New York Jets will need to play hard for a full sixty minutes this week.
Last Sunday, the New Orleans Saints led the New England Patriots with just a few minutes remaining, but were unable to seal the deal. Tom Brady, without his top receivers, added another game-winning drive to his decorated career as the Patriots improved to 5-1.
When the Jets and Patriots faced off in Week 2 New York did a good job of keeping Brady in check. He completed less than fifty-percent of his passes for 185 yards in that game.
New York needs to do a much better job of protecting the ball than they did in that Week 2 matchup when Geno Smith threw three fourth-quarter interceptions. After adding two more last week he’s now thrown ten interceptions in his rookie campaign. New England is third in the AFC with 12 takeaways, so they’ll make the young quarterback pay for any mistakes he makes.
The Jets are thin at running back now that Mike Goodson’s season is over after tearing his ACL and MCL. It’s crucial that they establish a running game this week and try to control the ball as much as possible.
When these two teams meet there’s always a battle in the trenches. The Jets need a win to stay above .500, while the Patriots hope to build on their division lead.
Final Score: New England 24 New York 13
