The Minnesota Vikings are now 1-5, and while there is plenty of blame to go around, Head Coach Leslie Frazier needs to bear the brunt of it. He stuck with Christian Ponder, even when he was the worst QB in the NFL. Now he inserts a quarterback, Josh Freeman, who doesn’t know the offense, and was cut from a winless Tampa Bay team.
Now the game tonight, Frazier’s decision making continued to be awful. He kept Freeman in, even though he couldn’t hit water if he was throwing from a boat. Then he passed on a field goal with 7 minutes left down by 16, hoping that the Vikings could get 2 TD’s, and 2 2-pt conversions, even thought Minnesota hadn’t seen the endzone on offense. I’m sorry Leslie, but your time to go is now.
