With no doubt about it Greg Robinson deserves the game ball. Just think if Mack would have made the change earlier this team may be undefeated. Texas has the talented but what can they do with this talent. It shows how the coaches losses after winning the National Championship hurt this program.
The defense really looked good against OU. I didn’t see many schemes. What, I did like was sure tackling and domination on the line. Granted this is not one of OU better teams. Seems to have key injuries and maybe not don’t great in the recruiting wars. The old OU in the past three years would have score at least forty points and over 500 offensive yards. But, in this shoot out not the case.
The offensive totally looked like a different team. I was really impressed with the playing calling. It seem to keep OU defensive behind a step. Going into the gmae didn’t really know what to expect from McCoy but he showed up in this game. He will always be remember for saving Mack’s job if the run the table and win a bowl game.
Texas gets a bye week before going to Forth Worth to play TCU which beat them last year. Can the keep up this great play on the defensive side. And can Applewhite sustain his excellenant play calling.
Time will tell TCU has on of the better defensive in the conference. I think hey are still making a adjustment to he new conference for them. Patterson is a great coach but probably doesn’t have the overall depth he would like to comptet in the Big 12. Give him two more years with some good recruiting classes different story. Something that has to be realize in the State of Texas in college the majority of the top recrutis want to go to A & m and play in the SE. Which is a great route to the NFL. At this time it vis still the best college conference and posssible another National Championship with the play of Bama.
For, texas to win the conference they have to baylor,Okie State and TT
The previors De.coordinator was not ready for theis spot
