Fantasy Football Week 10 Waivers
Posted By David Willow On Nov 5 2013 @ 4:56 pm In Fantasy Football | 1 Comment
Aaron Dobson – Dobson looks to have unseated Kembrell Thompkins and could see a rise in value as the Patriots are rediscovering their offense with the returns of Gronkowski, Amendola, and Vereen. He started slow, but has come on as of late and should be added in all formats. He is currently available in 64% of leagues.
Rashad Jennings – Once again Darren McFadden has aggravated his hamstring, and yes, the same one that he aggravated in week 4. This makes Jennings the starter in Oakland once again and with a strong matchup against the Giants this next week he is well worth an add in most leagues. He is currently available in 91% of leagues.
Andre Brown – After breaking his leg in the preseason, Brown is poised to return this week and could take over as the starting back, and more importantly, as the every down back for the Giants. David Wilson got some positive news on his neck, but is far from returning. Brown could run with the job for the rest of the season and could provide a strong boost to teams struggling at the RB position. He is currently available in 64% of leagues.
Nick Foles – The last time we talked about Foles he ended up falling on his face. However, anytime a QB throws for 7 TDs in a game you should probably consider an add in fantasy regardless of the situation. He has thrown for 13 TDs over 6 games this season and hasn’t registered an interception. Don’t go wild with expectations, but Foles is once again well worth an add. He is currently available in 76% of leagues.
Case Keenum – He has breathed life into a dormant Texans offense and has an easy schedule for passing coming up. He is not afraid to throw the ball deep, which is more than could be said for incumbent Matt Schaub. He is a better add in 2 QB leagues unless you’re in need of a BYE week filler or just lost a QB (sorry Rodgers owners). He is currently available in 90% of leagues.
Dennis Johnson – After Arian Foster left the game for Houston this weekend, Ben Tate took over as the lead back, but he is nursing 4 broken ribs. There is no current timetable on Foster’s return and Tate is likely to play this week, but the ribs could take Tate out of the game pretty quick. If that were to happen the lead back role would fall to Johnson. He’s best added as a handcuff or for opportunistic owners. He is currently available in 99% of leagues.
Riley Cooper – He has shown great chemistry with Nick Foles who could hold onto the starting job in Philly. He has recorded a pair of 100 yard games coupled with 4 TDs over that span. He is worth adding in most formats, but keep in mind he is not the first read and a couple of his TDs came on broken plays. He is currently available in 89% of leagues.
Shane Vereen – He could be having a career season right now if he hadn’t broken his wrist in week 1. Now, with him set to return in week 11, he will likely take Brandon Bolden or LeGarrette Blount out of the line up and take up most of the touches that Bolden was getting. He is a strong add where available and is currently available in 56% of leagues.
Tim Wright – With Mike Williams headed to IR, Wright has stepped up as Mike Glennon’s second read. He is a converted WR and has spent time with Glennon as a back up. He will hover around the lower tier of TEs, but if you’re in need adding him makes sense. He is currently available in 88% of leagues.
Mike Brown – With Justin Blackmon suspended….again, Brown looks like the guy to take over as the WR2 for the Jags. He is likely to fill the void, but not he shoes that Blackmon is leaving. He is best added in the deeper leagues as a roll of the dice, as most owners shouldn’t be looking to rely on anyone from Jacksonville on their fantasy teams. He is currently 93% of leagues.
Others to watch: Doug Baldwin (88% of leagues), Shonn Greene (84% of leagues), James Starks (78% of leagues), Jake Locker(62% of leagues), John Carlson (99% of leagues).
