As LeBron James reluctantly trudged through his Game 2 post game news conference, I couldn’t stop thinking that he looked very alone. Maybe it was the huge expanses of blue behind him, but ther is no noubt that he looked a man with no friends, and that was reflected on the court.
Now if you think back to about 5 years ago that wasn’t the case. In fact, Bron along with Dwyane Wade actually invented the two-person/star press conference. Yes, LeBron wasn’t alone, he actaully had two of his best friend playing along side him in Wade an Chris Bosh. But at the end of games there they were, side by side, DWade and LeBron, answering questions. This was an NBA first, two huge stasrs sitting side by side to get grilled by the media. Whatever the true reason really was, it certainly took pressure of LeBron. Wade already, and will forever own the city.
Then on this evening, ther was no Wade, no Bosh, no shelter, only the hail flowing down on LeBron from the media during the presser.. Yes he looked alone, yes he looked timimid under the bright lights that were all over him, but then how is that different from the LeBron that we know. He wants to be the best. He wants to be liked by everybody, however, he has not shown the ability to lead a championship team. Make no mistake, the Miami teams were led by Wade. James has been desperately searching for the answer to his championship dreams and that is why he left Miami. He felt that if he didn’t win a title aeay from Wade and Bosh, he wouldn’t recievee due credit, and that may be true, but it won’t be this year.
Steph Curry and the Warriors are the best team in the NBA,….by a lot. So until LeBron can get them out of the picture, he ain’t winning squat!!!#Isolatioisland#LeBronJames
