UFC 117 is a pretty exciting card. It's got the Middlweight Championship on the line, and according to Dana White today, the winner of Alves v Fitch will earn the number one contender spot against the winner of Koscheck and GSP. Well another week draws to a close and we're left with a couple of interesting tid-bits this week. First off, it's been another week of fighters coming up limp. Thiago Silva is out with an injury for UFC 117, and Phil Baroni is also of UFC 118. While neither of these injuries is devastating to the upcoming PPVs, I'm still disappointed.
