Tabbies Add Import Kicker Fodge.

The Ti-Cats announced Monday that they've added import kicker Matt Fodge to their practice roster. Fodge, a 6-1, 195-pound native of Garland, Texas averaged 42.3 yards per punt over four seasons at Oklahoma State. In 2008, Fodge won the Ray Guy award as college football’s top punter after averaging 44.1 yards per punt. He signed with the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys in June of 2009.

The CFL announced to that Ti-Cats receiver Arland Bruce III has been named the CFL Offensive Play of the Week after his record performance this past Saturday night vs the Saskatchewan Roughriders in Regina. Hamilton Tiger-Cats safety Sandy Beveridge announced his retirement from football Monday after 8 CFL seasons. Beveridge has accepted a position as a firefighter with the Hamilton Fire Department. Week 3 of the CFL season was called a “must win” by Ti-Cats QB Kevin Glenn in their re-match with the Blue Bombers at Ivor Wynn. Glenn and the Tabbies offense came to play Friday night.
