The Alouettes kick off the 2010 CFL season on Canada day facing the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the rematch of last season's Grey Cup matchup in which the Alouettes came up victorious. The Als: Defending their Grey Cup Championship

The Alouettes did not make any significant changes during the off-season. The biggest loss from their roster was Bryan Chiu. The 13 year veteran announced his retirement on the first day of training camp. Chiu has the record for most games played in an Alouettes uniform with 218 career games.
