I said I expected the Angels to sweep the Mets. They did take two of three, and that ain't bad. Did I say that, or did Meat Loaf say it? They don't do it much, but the Angels got good pitching and good hitting on the same day. Sports in Los Angeles last week experienced plenty of troubles. The Lakers losing to Utah and Indiana, the Kings continuing to NOT score, and USC football losing to Notre Dame at home, were some of the low lights.
