On Monday evening, 12 Iowa football players were admitted to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics for an undisclosed illness. The names of the student-athletes and additional information were not disclosed by the university due to privacy laws. In his first official apology since his Dec. 27 drug arrest and ensuing dismissal from the team on Jan. 3, Iowa running back Adam Robinson spoke to the media on Sunday. Robinson said that while he's received other offers from schools, he wants to return to Iowa and ultimately return to football. In another use of social media to announce news, Iowa's junior wide receiver Marvin McNutt wrote on his Facebook page today that he'll “be back.” Hawkeye Sports also sent out a release about McNutt's decision to return for his senior year.
