The contest between the Rays and Braves turned in the third when starter Randall Delgado committed a cardnal sin. He walked two batters, and then a few hitters later, Matt Joyce deposited a grand slam in the right center. This staked Tampa to a 4-2 lead, and they coasted from there to a 5-2 victory. Braves finish road trip with sweep

When this road trip started, I thought it would be a victory if the Braves could finish at 5-4. But they went 7-2, and made an equally emphatic statement by going into St. Louis and sweeping the Cards. The sweep culminated in a 7-4 victory. Tommy Hanson did just enough for the win to go to 4-3. After last night's classic, Atlanta had nothing left in the tank for today's businessman special, and dropped the rubber game of their tilt with the Phils, 4-0.
