Game 2 Slips Through Lakeshow Fingers
Posted on 17 May 2012 by Arthur Kai.
The Los Angeles Lakers squandered a huge opportunity to steal Game 2 on the road, losing to the Oklahoma City Thunder 77-75. Up by seven points with 2 minutes left in a gritty matchup, the Lakers allowed the Thunder to go on an 8-0, thanks to turnovers, a Black Mamba disappearing act to end the ball game, and Steve Blake's Derek Fisher impersonation gone wrong (missing a 3-point attempt that wo...

LakeShow Gets Blasted by OKC
Posted on 15 May 2012 by Arthur Kai.
The Los Angeles Lakers get demolished on the road in Game 1 against the Oklahoma City Thunder 119-90. This game can be summed up in one word. Smackage! Yes, the lost was so bad that I had to invent a new word in the English vocabulary to capture the full essence of how the Lakeshow were basically man-handled. Kobe Bryant showed up last night, not the Black Mamba who could impose his will on a...

Lakeshow Drops The Ball Against The Nuggets
Posted on 9 May 2012 by Arthur Kai.
The Los Angeles Lakers squander a big opportunity to finish off the Denver Nuggets, losing Game 5, 102-99 at the Staples Center. Besides the flashback “I am The Black Mamba” performance by Kobe Bryant, the rest of the Lakeshow had an uninspired night of play to forget. Even Bryant's 43 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists effort couldn't overcome the lethargic play of his team. “I...

Throw The Game For MWP
Posted on 7 May 2012 by Joey Cavilla.
If the Lakers Nuggets series goes to game six MWP will be present for Lakers Thunder game one. MWP in the starting lineup for that game is critical to Laker success. The perimeter matchup for that series is devestating for Los Angeles. So the thing the lakers should do is give Kobe 20 minutes, give Bynum 20 minutes and give Gasol 20 minutes i the upcoming game 5. This opens up room for McRobert...

Lakeshow Jump to 2-0 Lead Behind 1-2 Punch
Posted on 2 May 2012 by Arthur Kai.
The Los Angeles Lakers take a 2-0 series lead over the Denver Nuggets, with a 104-100 victory, thanks to huge games by Kobe Bryant and Andrew Bynum. The Mamba poured in 38 points, scoring 30-plus points for the 83rd time in the playoffs, second only to Michael Jordan. Bryant got in a good offensive rhythm early, and was pretty much unstoppable for the rest of the night. AB also had a big game ...

Lakeshow Display Championship Mettle in 2(OT) Win Over Thunder
Posted on 23 Apr 2012 by Arthur Kai.
Apparently, there appears to be some “championship-like steel” left in La La Land, courtesy of the Los Angeles Lakers thrilling overtime victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder 114-106. The victory was their first over OKC this year, and couldn't have come at a better time of the season, giving the Lakers an added confidence, that they can seriously contend for a championship this y...

Kobe, Lakers get big win; World Peace gets ejected
Posted on 23 Apr 2012 by Eddie McDonald.
The Los Angeles Lakers and the Oklahoma City Thunder hooked up on Sunday for a Western Conference showdown. The Lakers came away with the victory in double overtime, due in large part to Kobe Bryant’s late-game clutch shooting. This, however, was not the biggest story that came from this game. The bigger story from this game took place in the second quarter when Metta World Peace threw an elb...

Lakers Lose 2nd Straight to Spurs
Posted on 21 Apr 2012 by Arthur Kai.
Kobe Bryant's return from a 7-game hiatus turns into a second straight beat down by the San Antonio Spurs 121-97. Is this cause for concern, or was this merely a short term memory type of game, where you don't put that much into a contest at the end of an extremely compact season? The good from last night, was simply that The Mamba was able to get back out on the court, get back into the swing ...

Bynum Grabs 30 Boards; Lakers Rout Spurs
Posted on 12 Apr 2012 by Arthur Kai.
After being unapologetic about his two weeks worth of antics, which involved two-game ejections and questionable shot selection, and throw in not responding in “PC” fashion when asked certain questions about his actions on the court, Los Angeles Lakers center, Andrew Bynum, showed how valuable he is to the Lakers' success. Considered by a number of media pundits to be a possible hin...

Kobe Bryant MVP
Posted on 6 Apr 2012 by Joey Cavilla.
Hey folks sorry about the gap in blog posts as I was on vacation and couldn't find a reasonable price for internet usage! After the Clippers and Lakers game the other night it came very apparent to me that Kobe Bryant is the front runner and the expected winner for MVP. Kobe has been outstanding pretty much his whole career but something about this season is a little different then the 2007-200...
