Cardinals Drop the Ball in Green Bay
Posted on 5 Nov 2012 by Thomas Mitchell.
Green Bay, WI- Well, glad that's over. Two games through one of the hardest three-game stretches in the league, and the Cardinals continue to show us the beginning of the year was a mirage. The last time the Arizona Cardinals went in to Lambeau and scored a victory the Cardinals weren't even in Arizona yet, it was 1948. Yesterday showed we might have to wait another 65 years to see that happen....

Cardinals Take Drought to Lambeau
Posted on 2 Nov 2012 by Thomas Mitchell.
Green Bay, Wisconsin- Rough week to be a Cardinals fan. Not only did Arizona get embarrassed (again) on national TV last week, they also failed to make a move to improve their offensive line before the trade deadline expired yesterday. The lack of initiative on the trade-front for a guy like Ravens offensive tackle Bryant McKinnie, who is better than either of Arizona's starters at that positio...

Monday Night’s Massacre ends 24-3
Posted on 30 Oct 2012 by Thomas Mitchell.
Glendale, Az- Fan's showed up in Halloween costumes, they were hoping for a party. After it was over, realizing the party never began, the disappointed fans used their costumes and masks to hide their shame. I was flipping back and fourth between Friday the 13th and Monday Night Football after the 1st quarter and I couldn't tell the difference. Bad horror movies and the Cardinals on Monday nigh...

Cardinals Face Uphill Battle
Posted on 27 Oct 2012 by Thomas Mitchell.
Glendale, Az- The stage is set, but will the team be ready? When America's new favorite pastime comes into town this Monday night, all eyes will be on an Arizona Cardinals team with its back against the wall. Less than a month ago the playoffs were on everybody's mind, now fans would be happy with .500 record going into their bye week next month. These consecutive losses really couldn't have ...

Arizona Snaps Back to Reality
Posted on 22 Oct 2012 by Thomas Mitchell.
Minneapolis, MN- Nothing like a three game losing streak to remind us how hard it is to win in the NFL. Even after running out to a 4-0 start the Cardinals were hoping to get a much-needed win yesterday coming off two straight losses. Arizona is heading into the hardest stretch of their schedule, and a win in Minnesota would've given them some life support. LaRod Stephens-Howling showed up with...

Skelton aims to end Skid
Posted on 19 Oct 2012 by Thomas Mitchell.
Minneapolis, MN- If someone were to tell John Skelton the Cardinals would start out 4-2 at the beginning of the year he would've probably been happy with that prediction, but I doubt he saw it going like this. After getting knocked out of the season opener with a sprained ankle, he became an afterthought as Kevin Kolb helped propel this defensive-lead team to a 4-0 start. Most figured Skelton w...

Hopefully we can definitively see who the better QB is for this team in the next month or this will be training camp revisited. Kolb got sacked 23 times in the last 3 games before he finally got hu...

Bills Circle the Wagons on Arizona
Posted on 15 Oct 2012 by Thomas Mitchell.
Glendale, Az- In an epic battle of mediocrity, the Cardinals offense failed to step up once again. Yesterday was another ugly game in which Arizona's defense gave up less than 20 points, but the offense failed to score enough to secure a victory. The Buffalo Bills came into University of Phoenix Stadium and got their mojo back on defense, at least for one game. Defensive end Mario Williams got ...

Cards on the Rebound

Glendale, Az- A friend of mine recently got dumped, his pickup game wasn't exactly on point coming off a long relationship, and his self esteem was especially low. His luck with other women wasn't improving, so he decided to do a slump bust to end it. A slump bust is hooking up with someone that you would normally never look at so you can finally stop striking out, and that's exactly what he di...

Cardinals Offensive Line was who we Thought They Were!

St. Louis, MO- The higher you fly the harder you fall, just ask Icarus…and the Arizona Cardinals, they fell to 4-1, losing 3-17 to the Rams. After an unexpected 4-0 start to the season the Arizona Cardinals were heading into Thursday night's game with the St. Louis Rams not only favored to win, but also ready to prove to the rest of the country how good they were on a national stage. It h...

Cardinals Flying High to St. Louis
Posted on 4 Oct 2012 by Thomas Mitchell.
Fresh off an overtime win several days ago, the Arizona Cardinals are set to play another tough one tonight in St. Louis on short rest, but at least the Rams will be equally sore heading into the game. Arizona could use more time for defensive tackle Darnell Dockett, who has a nagging hamstring problem, and as it stands he's still questionable to play. Divisional matches are never easy and sinc...

Cardinals Outlast Dolphins, Stay Unbeaten
Posted on 1 Oct 2012 by Thomas Mitchell.
Glendale, Az- The trap was set Sunday afternoon, the Miami Dolphins pounced, and the Cardinals survived. The Card's best start since moving to the desert looked to be in jeopardy the entire game, but Arizona's experience and physicality ultimately won out, barely beating out the Dolphins 24-21 in overtime. The offense continued to shoot itself in the foot throughout the game yesterday, and the ...
