Cowboys/Seahawks preview
Posted on 30 Oct 2009 by Glenn Stants.
A look at the upcoming clash between Dallas and Seattle This Sunday we have the Seattle Seahawks visiting the confines of new Dallas stadium where everything really is bigger in Texas. These two teams do not have the storied past of the likes of Dallas / Washington, Cleveland / Pittsburgh but it is the way the schedule goes and they will play each other this Sunday. Dallas (4-2) hope...

LB Ware gets huge contract from the 'Boys The big news out of Dallas this week is that the Cowboys signed linebacker DeMarcus Ware to a six year 78 million dollar deal, 40 million of which is guaranteed. The team and Ware have been negotiating for months and finally reached an agreement on Monday. Selected 11th overall by the Cowboys in the 2005 draft, Ware boasts 57.5 career sacks. In ...

O.K Dallas Nation, who was nervous after the Atlanta Falcons drove down the field in the first quarter to take a 7-0 lead over the hometown Dallas Cowboys?. I will admit I was. Atlanta commanded that first quarter until….I say until as Dallas woke up for the remaining 3 quarters and beat a good Atlanta squad 37-21 to go to 4-2 on the season. Where do I start? The Cowboys showed true g...

Bye Week For the Cowboys
Posted on 16 Oct 2009 by Glenn Stants.
As we enter week-6 of the NFL season, it is the bye week for the Dallas Cowboys. I know everyone is upset that American’s team is not playing this week but hey, blame it on the NFL scheduling, not me people. O.k, joking aside, if any team is looking forward to their bye-week, it is the Cowboys. I will be the first to admit the Cowboys have not played up to what I thought their potential...

Can anyone please find the real Dallas Cowboys?
Posted on 13 Oct 2009 by Glenn Stants.
O.K, what do I say? Does anyone have any answers on why the Cowboys have to go to overtime to beat the winless Kansas City Chiefs?. First I have to say that I did not watch this game as I was in attendance at the Buffalo Bills pathetic game against the Cleveland Browns but all I could focus on was the out of town scoreboard and how it kept saying the Cowboys are losing. I was at wits end not...

Dallas travels to KC for must win!!
Posted on 10 Oct 2009 by Glenn Stants.
I am not sure how to start off this blog when I have no idea which Dallas Cowboys team will show up as the Cowboys head to Kansas City to visit the land of Dorothy and Toto. I can only hope that the Chiefs do not have any wizard of Oz in their football playbook and the Cowboys come out victorious. The Cowboys are 2-2 and really given how bad they have played as a team since the opening game ...

Dallas Who? I lost my blender

Cowboys fall short against Denver So what do I say? How do I start this week’s blog when I am utterly disappointed with not only my football knowledge but the Dallas Cowboys game yesterday. Let me set the scenario: It is 1600, I am on the couch and it is first quarter in the Cowboys/Broncos game. WOW, the Cowboys are playing like a Super Bowl team moving the ball at will. Marion Barb...

Cowboys-Broncos Preview

Dallas seeks to tame wild Broncos in Denver This may be one of the hardest blogs to write as I clearly don’t see the 3-0 Denver Broncos competing with Dallas this Sunday when the Cowboys head to Denver. Call me silly, but Dallas clearly has the better team and, well, I am not a betting man, Denver has met their match for this Sunday’s tilt between these two teams. I am not here...

Jones out for Sunday
Posted on 30 Sep 2009 by Glenn Stants.
Versatile running back will miss this weekend's game Some mid-week news out of Dallas is not the kind of news I want to write on but it seems the injury to Dallas Cowboys running back or I like to call him ‘all purpose’ Felix Jones is that Jones is going to miss this Sunday’s game against the Denver Broncos due to a ‘sprained posterior cruciate ligament’ i...

Cowboys top Panthers for first win in new stadium The game for a Monday nighter was not the most exciting to watch as a fan but a win is a win and for this Cowboy fan, I will take a win over an exciting game but a loss. The Cowboys did what they had to do to win this game. The first half was certainly not really what the Cowboys want to look at to go forward in this so far short season bu...

Carolina faces Dallas on MNF!!
Posted on 27 Sep 2009 by Glenn Stants.
Week – 3 match up has the 0-2 Carolina Panthers heading into the confines of new Cowboy stadium to play the 1-1 Dallas Cowboys. Certainly this is not where the Panthers want to be after going 12-4 last year and Dallas needs this win to get back on track after losing a nailbitter last week to the Giants. The Cowboys did what the Buffalo Bills know what to do last week against the NY Gia...

Dallas lets Giants game slip away
Posted on 22 Sep 2009 by Glenn Stants.
The Dallas Cowboys let their Sunday tilt get away from them against their NFC East rivals, the NY Giants. The Dallas Cowboys had it all Sunday night, opening of their new stadium, flash-bulbs going off everywhere, the New York ‘football’ Giants in town to open the new stadium. Problem was the Giants spoiled the Cinderella story by beating the Cowboys 33-31. Four Dallas turnover...
