Devils Have a Big Showing on Scott Niedermayer Night
Posted on 17 Dec 2011 by Jordan DiRisio.
On Scott Niedermayer the Devils confirmed the suspicion that they're hot. The Devils retired the jersey of long time Defenseman Scott Niedermayer and with the Devils playing well there was a positive atmosphere at Prudential Center. Instead they responded and played a very solid first getting one themselves by Adam Henrique on a gr...

Devils Build in Loss

When Zach Parise scored on a beautiful deflection just three minutes into the game it seemed like last night would be a great night. Five minutes later down 3-1 it seemed like it would be a disastrous game. Both initial reactions were wrong. Brodeur was chased from the game allowing three go...

Cap space has become one of the best assets a team can have in the NHL’s Salary Cap Era. One of the easiest ways for a GM to give himself cap flexibility is to use roster spots on rookies that carry entry level deals, and that’s precisely what teams are doing. NHL rosters were loaded with rookies during the 2010-11 season, and the trend is expected to continue in 2011-12. As fans start to p...
