Posted on 3 May 2010 by Amit Mann.
The three-headed monster of the MVP race in the NHL breaks down with Sidney Crosby of Pittsburgh Penguins, Alexander Ovechkin of the Washington Capitals and Henrik Sedin of the Vancouver Canucks battling it out for the reign as the league's most valuable player. Notice the exclusion of either Ryan Miller or Ilya Bryzgalov on the ballot which in my opinion, is just wrong. Anyways, the votes are ...

Posted on 24 Mar 2010 by Amit Mann.
The Pens had playoff type games against the Red Wings and Caps this week and unfortunately for them, they came up with the short end of the stick both times. With all of the momentum in the series going their way and on home ice, the Capitals decided to play their worst game of the series to date. Here is my take on games five, six, and seven. Game Five: Orpik was open several days ago in his displeasure of how Ovechkin plays. As game five progressed, Orpik got more and more into Ovechkin’s face. By the end of the first period, it looked ...

The Following Is The First In A Series Of Game Recaps That Will Be Posted In The Coming Days Before I Get Fully Caught Up Who would have thought that the Atlanta Thrashers would be on a six-game win streak? Certainly not me. I just checked the papers and pigs aren’t flying, so this must be legit. Kari Lehtonen stood on his head tonight to stonewall the high-powered offense of the Capi...

Posted on 21 Mar 2009 by Jayson Saikaley.
With the Champagne just drying up from Brodeur's record setting 552 win and a trip to Carolina, Martin Brodeur returns home to take on the Minnesota Wild in Shutout fashion. The Celebrating had just ended from Martin Brodeur's Historical Night in Newark. The Devils were forced to go to Raleigh to take on the hungry and rested Carolina Hurricaines and were beaten. So they returned home...
