Bills Finish Preseason 1-3… No Biggie
Posted on 2 Sep 2011 by Norm Duhamel.
The Buffalo Bills have finished the preseason with a 16-6 loss to the Detroit Lions. The league really shouldn't even count wins or losses in the pre-season because ultimately they don't matter. A great example of how meaningless these games are; in 2008 the Detroit Lions finished the preseason 4-0 and didn't win a game all year. Pulling stats from this game would be a big waste of time, ...

Ravens dominate Chiefs, 30-7
Posted on 10 Jan 2011 by Frisco Fahs.
The Baltimore Ravens had an outstanding performance against the Kansas City Chiefs. Arrowhead Stadium was loud and furious but wasn’t enough to take down the Ravens. The Ravens win 30-7. The Chiefs were playing inspired football through the entire first half. The Chiefs created a sack fumble and recovered to gain possession. Two plays later, Jamaal Charles breaks out a 41 yard run for a score...

Playoff Preview: Ravens vs. Chiefs
Posted on 6 Jan 2011 by Frisco Fahs.
All stats are meaningless when it comes to the playoffs. It’s about who goes on a hot streak and can make a strong run to the Super Bowl. The Ravens have to travel to Arrowhead Stadium to play AFC West division champs, the Kansas City Chiefs. Offense: Edge Chiefs Overall, the Ravens have better talent on offense but don’t apply enough pressure on opposing offenses to keep pace. On the ot...

Ravens beat the Bengals but don’t win AFC North
Posted on 3 Jan 2011 by Frisco Fahs.
The Ravens beat the Bengals, 13-7, in ugly fashion. With the Steelers steam rolling the Browns, the Ravens are left with the fifth seed in the playoff picture. The Ravens finished the season 12-4. If the Ravens want to win the whole thing they’re going to have to do it away from home. They won’t have a single home game in this year’s playoff. The Ravens’ defense is going into the playof...

RAIDERS SWEEP DIVISION
Posted on 3 Jan 2011 by Mike Cid.
The Raiders did it. They walked into Arrowhead Stadium and did what no other team could do this year. They beat the Kansas City Chiefs, and went undefeated in the division this year. They won every single game against their AFC West foes, but were 2-8 in the other ten games this year. They went 2-2 against teams in the NFC West, but went 0-6 against the rest of the AFC conference. Usu...

UNDEFEATED??
Posted on 2 Jan 2011 by Mike Cid.
The Oakland Raiders roll into Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City to end their season. They will be looking to go undefeated in the division. However, no matter what happens they will not be making the playoffs this season. No team in NFL history has won every divisional game and not made the playoffs. But I think the most important outcome is for the Raiders to try and end their season at...

Kansas scorched in 2nd half against Cowboys
Posted on 22 Nov 2010 by David Freivogel.
Well it was a close game, until half. The Jayhawks found themselves in a close, low scoring game at the half with the Cowboys from Oklahoma State. Trailing 20-14 going into the locker rooms, most Kansas fans had to be stunned. Not that it was a close game, but the fact that their defense, which has given up points like a bad video game team, was actually keeping the most explosive offense in th...

Jaguars hit road, seek redemption after Monday night debacle
Posted on 20 Oct 2010 by Scott Janovitz.
It took only one week, and a Monday night disaster, for Jacksonville to go from division leading to seller dwelling, as it was the only of four AFC South teams to lose over weekend. How quickly things can change in the NFL, a concept with which fans of the 2010 Jaguars have grown more than familiar. Not long ago, Jacksonville was riding an exciting two-game win streak, and had actually begun to...

The San Francisco 49ers Are in a must win game in week 3
Posted on 23 Sep 2010 by Jason Rossi.
Week 3’s loss to the Saints had moments were it can be argued there were moral victories. I made some of those arguments in my week 3 recap blog. However, moral victories will not get a team into the playoffs. Week 3 is a must win for the 49ers. Stamped it and no erasies. The 49ers travel to Arrowhead stadium to face the surprising 2-0 Kansa City Chiefs. A short few weeks ago this...
