Man, I like those rubber game wins a lot more than the losses. After a “buckle your seat belt” victory on Monday and a blow out loss on Tuesday, the Cubs offense and bullpen picked it up in the series finale tonight, clinching a best of three series 2-1 over the division rival Houston Astros. The Cubs lost their second consecutive divisional series this year as the Brewers took two of three from Chicago in Milwaukee. It seems the Cubs are happy continuing nibbling in the early going this season as eight of the nine games so far have been decided by 3 runs or fewer.
