Pro Sports Blogging presses on with its NBA Season preview coverage taking a look at the NBA's Central Division. Chicago's recent dominance in the division seems to be at an end as the Bulls will be without their former MVP and perennial All-Star, Derrick Rose. Whether or not the Bulls can hold down the fort and make the playoffs until Rose returns remains to be seen. Indiana looks to be in t...

Lakers / Heat Stoke NBA ’12-13
Posted on 16 Oct 2012 by Steven Keys.
Consider this the year of LeBron. Not because he and his Heat team are a lock to repeat as champs in 2013. Au contraire, the new & improved Lakers will have a thing or two to say about who dons that crown come next June. Rather, it’s because this’ll be the first time in his 10-year NBA tenure that Mr. James can actually enjoy himself on a basketball court. Having garnered that elusive c...

Los Bulls defeated El Magic 85-59 on another Latin inspired basketball evening in the NBA. Chicago played without Derrick Rose for the fourth straight game and avenged a loss to Orlando that occurred 10 days earlier with the blow out victory. Carlos Boozer played inspired basketball and was the best player on the court all night, leading the Bulls with 24 points and 13 rebounds. John Lucas spa...

The Orlando Magic finished the week at 3-1 capped by Sunday's easy win over the Indiana Pacers 107-94. Still the most important news concerning the Magic is the future of Dwight Howard as rumors continue to burn up the internet with the offers the Orlando Magic are receiving. Here are two of the more interesting ones from the weekend: Mitch Lawrence of the New York Daily News reports: The Warri...

Return to Form…Magic defeat the Bulls 99-94
Posted on 9 Mar 2012 by Warren Shaw.
Leave it to the Orlando Magic to lose to the worst team in the league one night and then defeat the best team in the league the next time out. That is exactly what Orlando did as they held on to defeat the Chicago Bulls 99-94 on Thursday night following Tuesday's embarrassing loss to Charlotte. Dwight Howard had his way with the Chicago front line bullying them to a tune of 29 points and 18 re...

Help Wanted

The Miami Heat defeated the Chicago Bulls 96-85 Sunday night winning Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals. Now up two games to one with another game coming at home on Tuesday the ball is very much in Miami’s court to take complete control of the series. Most of the media has extolled Chris Bosh for his “dominant” performance in the game (34 points) I won’t go that far because he on...

Chin-lung “Boo”
Posted on 10 May 2011 by Jim Mancari.
The great thing in sports about having a first or last name that has two “o's” next to each other or a “u” is that fans love cheering the name, even though it sounds like the player is getting booed. Carlos Boozer of the Chicago Bulls, Mets first base coach Mookie Wilson, Mets farmhand Lucas Duda and scores of others have enjoyed this luxury. When the Mets signed Chi...

Hawks even series
Posted on 8 May 2011 by John Morgo.
After a very disappointing game three in this series, the Hawks answered the bell for Game Four. And they did it in that particular gut-check time the fourth quarter. Chicago started the final frame with a two point lead, but Atlanta exploded in the fourth, outscoring the Bulls 33-19 and getting out of here with a 100-88 victory. This ties the series at two heading into Game Five, which will be...

Running Mates

Last summer all eyes were focused on South Beach, watching LeBron and Bosh flock to Miami to team up with D-Wade, forming the most hated threesome since the Jonas Brothers (arguable). While they were patting one another on the back and getting fitted for their “multiple championship” rings somewhere in the south side of Chicago Derrick Rose was lacing up his shoes and going to work....

With Series In Hand, Bulls Looking At Bigger Picture.
Posted on 19 Apr 2011 by Kris Schoembs.
The Chicago Bulls walked off the court following a 96-90 victory against the Indiana Pacers yesterday with a disappointed look on their faces. The overall mood in the Bulls locker room after the game would lead you to believe that they had just lost Game 2 of their first round series against the Pacers. They have done what every home team looks to do, win the first two games at home. ...

How the East was lost….Bulls rout the Celtics 97-81
Posted on 7 Apr 2011 by Warren Shaw.
Derrick Rose in a word is special and the Boston Celtics tonight in two words were over matched. In what was Boston's last chance to challenge the Bulls for the number one seed in the East and avoid a potential 2nd round war with Miami, Boston was cut by the thorns of a Rose losing 97-81. Rose showed no mercy with a 30 point, 8 assist, and 5 rebound performance all but locking up the top seed...
