Carlos es muy loco! Guillen’s antics help the Angels go from no-no, to yes, thank you.

Carlos Guillen is an idiot! He sure showed Jered Weaver and the Angels, who's the boss. Now, he owes his own pitcher, Justin Verlander an apology. Let me rewind.. Verlander was unbelievable today and should have no hit the Angels. However, he was done in by his teammate, Carlos Guillen. Detroit was already leading 2-0 when Guillen launched a home run off Weaver in the bottom of the 7th inning....

Sizemore Traded to Oakland
Posted on 29 May 2011 by Jeremy Klumpp.
This week the Tigers made a surprising move trading second baseman Scott Sizemore to the Oakland A’s for relief pitcher David Purcey. The deal comes less than a month after Sizemore was recalled from Toledo to replace Will Rhymes. Tigers management felt that Sizemore had his chances to earn the starting job at second, but never fully developed into the player they hoped he would. With Sizemor...

With a chance to even a tough series, Brandon Inge back at third, Carlos Gu...

Is this it?

Well, a couple of days ago I was pretty upbeat about the Tigers prospects of winning despite their recent history of losing. As they prepare to feebly face a tough Toronto squad twice today, I'm not even sure they can hold onto third place in the AL Central. The Tigers are in trouble. The injuries to Magglio Ordonez and Carlos Guillen almost certainly guarantee that they are out of the trade de...

Oh my Boesch! Rookies making the difference this year
Posted on 20 May 2010 by Shane Liebler.
The biggest question mark coming into this season had to be whether the Tigers could replace Curtis Granderson's athleticism and power. Rookie Austin Jackson has proved an apt leadoff man, leading the team in hits and stolen bases while currently tied with Johnny Damon for runs scored. Brennan Boesch has provided the muscle, batting in 19 runners in nearly as many games, slugging a team-leading...
