Chicago Bears Stun Dallas Cowboys with 27-20 Win
Posted on 19 Sep 2010 by Debbie Baratz.
With Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler's three touchdown passes today, the Bears beat the Dallas Cowboys 27-20 at Cowboy Stadium. I'm wondering who was more surprised by the win: Bears Nation or Dallas? The Bears are now 2-0 and the Cowboys, well, they're 0-2. This is the first time since 2006 since the Bears have been 2-0 and nine years since it's been a 0-2 start for Dallas. Is it...

Cowboys in a must win situation
Posted on 17 Sep 2010 by David Willow.
Dallas goes into this Sunday in what could be viewed as a must win game for them. After the debacle in Washington, the team is looking to rebound in a big way against Chicago at home in the “Death Star” as it's called. Think they can rebound and beat the Bears? I do. Two reasons. Marc Colombo and Kyle Kosier. These two will bring back not only stability to the line, which it clearly...

Redskins Conquer Cowboys – Fans Rejoice
Posted on 13 Sep 2010 by Mercedes Green.
Let me first start by expressing how all Redskins fans probably feel this morning. It’s kind of like a super bowl win already and it’s only week 1. Last night’s win against the Dallas Cowboys, when every commentator, every spread, everyone had the Skins losing, was the epitome of pure Redskins-Cowboys football. I was approaching cardiac arrest for the last 2 minutes. The Redskins al...

Mental mistakes cost the Boys
Posted on 12 Sep 2010 by David Willow.
In the first half the two teams seemed to being feeling each other and their offenses out a bit. Both had a little bend, but no give with each team. Mental mistakes cost the Cowboys big in the first half. The flip to Tashard Choice that ended in a fumble for a touchdown and a jump off sides by Orlando Scandrick on a Redskins field attempt left the Cowboys tough hole. This lack of mental focus b...

Cowboys versus Redskins
Posted on 11 Sep 2010 by David Willow.
The Cowboys head into Sunday night to face a tough new Redskins team with a lot of questions and intrigue on both sides. How will McNabb and Shanahan's new offense work? Will the Cowboy's line be stable? The Redskins bring a solid quarterback to a team that's been lacking one for years, but McNabb doesn't have a solid stable of wide receivers once again like he did in Philadelphia for so long. ...

Ladies and Gentleman, welcome your 2010 Dallas Cowboys
Posted on 9 Sep 2010 by Glenn Stants.
Most people will say this season in Dallas Nation that we all have high expectations from this years Dallas Cowboy squad. With that being said we haven't even started the regular season and the NFL season is a long one so I am not one to want to jump the gun. The Cowboys finished 12-6 last year, won a playoff game and this year everyone will look to better that record both regular season ...

The Final Cut: 53 Men Left in Miami
Posted on 5 Sep 2010 by Brian Saa.
Snip, snip, snip. The Dolphins have terminated the contracts of veteran TE David Martin and DT Montavious Stanley. Martin had looked good in camp, but the team chose to go in another direction. The team also raided the Cowboys again, acquiring OT Pat McQuistan. McQuistan gives the team more depth on the o-line after Nate Garner's placement on the IR. McQuistan is a big guy (6'6″, 31...

Cowboys Trade Crayton
Posted on 5 Sep 2010 by David Willow.
Player cuts are in and moves have been made in Dallas. The Cowboys and have made a few surprising and a few not so surprising moves. The most notable move is the trade of Patrick Crayton to the San Diego Chargers. It is a bit strange that Dallas would send one of their most reliable veteran receivers away for a meager 7th round pick, that could escalate into a 6th if he plays well. Although Dal...

Redskins End Preseason 2-2

The Redskins lost last night to the Cardinals in their last preseason game, but I’m really not even thinking about this game anymore and full thoughts are for next Sunday night’s home opener against the Dallas Cowboys. Last night’s game was wrought with 12 penalties for total of 110 yards lost. Here are the offensive numbers from last night. Passing Cmp Att Yds TDs J. Beck 11 21 ...

Last Go-Round for Cowboy Wade?
Posted on 2 Sep 2010 by Steven Keys.
Jerry Jones has true grit. It takes real patience waiting on his Cowboys to turn the corner. But his well of patience may have finally run dry. This time next year Jones will likely have a new head coach and Wade Phillips will be ridin’ fence somewhere in the NFL. Tony Romo will keep his spurs but face the task of winning back in competition the NFL’s marquee quarterback job. There’s no...

Little trouble in big D
Posted on 31 Aug 2010 by Glenn Stants.
Alright, what is this I am hearing about the Dallas Cowboys already having trouble and everyone throwing this years Cowboy squad under the bus before the regular season has even started? Yes, it can be said that the Cowboys have not played to their potential in their first four pre-season games so far this pre-season but people, come on, it's the pre-season for that exact reason. Look at the...

Scott Sicko signs with the Dallas Cowboys
Posted on 28 Apr 2010 by Glenn Stants.
Some minor rumblings out of Dallas camp this week has the Cowboys coming to terms with un-drafted tight end Scott Sicko. Sicko who played college ball in New Hampshire went undrafted during the recent NFL draft and said he would continue to focus on his schooling and graduate from school but changed his mind and signed a free agent contract with the Cowboys. Sicko is 6’4 ½”, 251lbs and is...
