Sizemore Traded to Oakland

This week the Tigers made a surprising move trading second baseman Scott Sizemore to the Oakland A’s for relief pitcher David Purcey. The deal comes less than a month after Sizemore was recalled from Toledo to replace Will Rhymes. Oh my Boesch! Rookies making the difference this year

The biggest question mark coming into this season had to be whether the Tigers could replace Curtis Granderson's athleticism and power. Rookie Austin Jackson has proved an apt leadoff man, leading the team in hits and stolen bases while currently tied with Johnny Damon for runs scored.
