5 Biggest questions for Texans entering 2012 season
Posted on 30 Jul 2012 by Dustin Kelver.
Although Linsanity has made its' way into Houston the biggest hype is still around the Texans. The hype is more than appropriate due to the fact that last year the Texans did something they aren't known for doing, winning the division and making the playoffs. Then they proceeded to one up that and won a playoff game before leaving it all out on the field in the heartbreaking loss to the Ravens....

Texans on the brink of greatness?
Posted on 23 May 2012 by Dustin Kelver.
The Houston Texans as a franchise have suffered through many years of dissappointing seasons and heartbreaking losses, but last year might have just changed all of that. The Texans won the AFC South with a 10-6 record despite losing their star pass rusher and pro bowl caliber QB to season-ending injuries. They won their first ever playoff game against the Bengals on January 7th, 2012 with their...

Ten points was the closest the Texans got from early in the second quarter on. It never seemed like they were capable of winning the game, even with another dazzling performance by Arian Foster. Now 4-3, and dwelling at third in the d...

Heading into the bye week, the loss of DeMeco Ryans could not have been worse news for an already woeful defense. On Monday, the Texans announced that Brian Cushing would be moved from strongside linebacker position to middle linebacker. Cushing claims to have learned a lot about the position from Ryans. The move will put Kevin Bentley in Cushing's slot. The Texans are being forced to mix and m...

Houston Texans Fortunate Win Does Not Provoke Optimism
Posted on 19 Oct 2010 by Zachary Stanley.
We've seen almost everything under the sun from the Houston Texans this year. The Texans are a far cry from their week one dominance of the Colts. There seemed to finally be a new team in Houston, but the past four weeks have looked like the past four years as inconsistencies remind fans of past seasons' woes. Like dozens of times before, the Texans found themselves in an offensive race on Sund...

Texans Lose 17-10, Once Again Favre is the Story
Posted on 2 Sep 2009 by Gabriel Rodriguez.
Minnesota went into Houston last night and beat the Texans 17-10. Despite good play on both sides, the game was overshadowed by Brett Favre and one dirty play. Even though everything I heard leading up to this game was about Brett Favre, I wrote earlier that the Vikings would attack the Texans with Adrian Peterson right up the middle of the field…and they wasted no time proving me right...
