Redskins Take Third With Win Over Eagles
Posted on 19 Nov 2012 by Mercedes Green.
I thought it was hard being a Redskins fan. I would hate to be an Eagles fan after that dismal performance yesterday. The Redskins D took advantage of the Rookie QB Foles and got 4 sacks on him. Foles also threw 2 interceptions very early in the 1st quarter, of which the Skins got 7 points from. The Eagles’ poor showing aside, this was RG3’s day. I am still amazed to watch this guy ...

Week 11 Preview: Redskins Eagles
Posted on 16 Nov 2012 by Mercedes Green.
Let the battle for last place begin! The Redskins are coming off their bye week with RG3 as one of their newest captains. Also added to the new captains list is Stephen Bowen, Barry Cofield. Current captains are London Fletcher, Trent Williams and Lorenzo Alexander. The Eagles lost Vick to a concussion and are banking on Nick Foles. Both teams are also looking long and hard at their c...

Lynch Mob Fells Eagles

Most of the populated world fears the apocalyptic nightmare scenario. Whether due to nuclear war, depletion of natural resources, destruction of the modern monoliths defining our world or simply an object of space debris colliding with the planet to cause collateral damage, fear of the unknown may be worse than the actual act of destruction. We don’t know how it will happen, but the one goo...

Slight Set Back In Bills Loss
Posted on 17 Oct 2011 by Norm Duhamel.
If I told you at the beginning of the season that the Buffalo Bills would beat New England, Philadelphia and would be 4-2 going into their bye week you would probably think I was crazy. Well luckily for Bills fans that is all true. Unfortunately for the Bills they are no longer in first place following their 27-24 loss against the New York Giants coupled with the Patriots win against the Cowboy...

All Aboard the Train Rex

The Philadelphia Eagles in a near must-win game against the Washington Redskins did exactly what they had to do: They stopped the running game in its tracks thus forcing Rex Grossman to throw and boy did he ever! The only thing wrong was the fact that none of the Redskins caught those passes. Grossman threw 4 interceptions and was yanked out of the game late in the 3rd quarter. John Bec...

Rested Redskins Take On Falling Eagles
Posted on 14 Oct 2011 by Mercedes Green.
If any team needs a bye week it’s the Philadelphia Eagles. I thought our “100 million dollar man” was bad but Michael Vick throwing 4 picks last week is just crazy. Even with the Redskins on their bye last week they have made it into the Top 10 Power Poll on NFL.com and are sitting pretty at #1 in the NFC East. I have put it out of my mind the last time the Redskins met the Eagles in we...

NFL Week 3: Giants Recap
Posted on 26 Sep 2011 by Jason Comack.
Not all wins are created equally. There are blowout wins, comeback wins, close wins, lucky wins, divisional wins and playoff wins. Some games, and they way in which you win them, sometimes just mean more. For the Giants their 29 to16 thumping of the Eagles had a little bit of everything. It was a statement game for the Giants. They beat a divisional opponent, on the road as an underdog....

NFL Week 3: Eagles Vs. Giants Preview
Posted on 24 Sep 2011 by Jason Comack.
The Giants go on the road this week to take on the self proclaimed “dream team”, the Philadelphia Eagles. One week I'll be able to start these previews without talking about injuries, but, it won't be this week. Another ACL was claimed by whatever deity the Giants seemingly made angry this off season as Dominick Hixon tore his and is done for the year. Mario Manningham is also listed as d...

This weekend the Boston College Eagles (5-5) welcome the Virginia Cavaliers (4-6) to alumni for the final home game of the season. The Eagles, now the proud owner of a three-game win streak, look to reach bowl-eligibility for the twelfth season in a row with a win on Saturday. The Virginia Cavaliers come to Chestnut Hill with a two game losing streak, after losing to Duke and the Maryland Ter...

Redskins Have No Answers In Monday Night Massacre vs. Eagles

By Mark F. Gray Mike Shanahan was 10-4 following the bye week as an NFL head coach but game number 15 was a nightmare. With enough blame to go around Shanahan’s team lacked focus and was unprepared for a game that gave them an opportunity to remain a factor in the NFC post season hunt. Now Shanahan was has to rebuild his ego and the morale of his team before there is an implosion or mutiny fo...

Preview: BC/Duke
Posted on 11 Nov 2010 by Ian Boynton.
After winning their last two contests against Clemson and Wake Forest, the Eagles look to continue their march towards bowl eligibility this weekend against the Duke Blue Devils. With a record of 4-5, the Eagles need only two more wins to continue their streak of twelve straight bowl game appearances. As has become cliché, every game now counts for the Eagles. The same applies for the Duke Blu...

Game Preview: BC/Wake Forest
Posted on 4 Nov 2010 by Ian Boynton.
It feels weird to say it, almost taboo at this point, but for the first time since October 2nd the Eagles are coming off a victory and are expected to win. This weekend, the Eagles will travel to Winston-Salem, NC to take on the Demon Deacons of Wake Forest (2-6). The Demon Deacons, like the Eagles, have had a turbulent season. Amidst a 6-game losing streak, the Deacons have rotated through thr...
