Trayvon goes over the Wall-y. Angels can’t solve the Beav. And Where’s Mr. Cle-I mean Weaver?
Posted on 7 Aug 2011 by Bill Mahoney.
First everyone wanted the Angels to get a bat, Than it was a bullpen guy (my thinking). Now,they may need to address the starting rotation. Weaver, Haren and Santana are fine, but Joel Pineiro is already in the pen, and Tylor Chatwood may be running out of steam. Chatwood has pitched 123 innings this year. True productivity for the M’s in the month of May has not been seen since 2003 when the team acc...

Handicapping the race
Posted on 1 Jul 2010 by Ron Burr.
I have been loathe to come back here and post anything. You see, the team started winning a few games. The starting pitching wasn't great, but the bullpen was excellent, and the hitting was timely. Runners in scoring position were being driven in, hitters were working the counts and making good choices, even with 2 outs! And since the last time the Orioles won 3 in a row while sweeping ...
