The Oakland A’s have traded for Rockies outfielder Seth Smith in a deal that sends pitchers Guillermo Moscoso and Josh Outman to the Rockies. When I said the Oakland A's would win the AL West, I based it on their starting pitching. You know, Trevor Cahill, Brian Anderson, Gio Gonzalez & Dallas Braden. I didn't factor in Josh Outman or Guillermo Moscoso. Either did the Angels, who treated both of them like they were Cy Young candidates.
