FALCONS COMPLETELY DESTROYED BY PACKERS
Posted on 16 Jan 2011 by Mark Anthony Williams.
If the game had been a Little League Game, the mercy rule would have been applied. If it was a high school game, the Falcons cheerleaders and mom’s would have been crying at the staggering thumping the Green Bay Packers (12-6) put on the number 1 seed, Atlanta Falcons (13-4). Aaron Rogers put on such a dominating performance for his Packers (31/36, 3 passing TD’s, 1 rushing TD, 137 passer...

Lions Finish Off Vikings to End Disappointing 2010 Season
Posted on 3 Jan 2011 by Sean Eckhardt.
This was not how it was all supposed to turn out. After losing to the Detroit Lions 20-13, the Minnesota Vikings finished the 2010 season in last place in the NFC North at 6-10. This comes after two consecutive division crowns. The game yesterday went how much of the season did, as the Lions were pretty much in control throughout the game. The story for Minnesota on offe...

NFL Rookie of The Year : Has St. Louis Rams QB Sam Bradford Hit The Rookie Wall?
Posted on 21 Dec 2010 by Bear Heiser.
If I had to grade the performance of St. Louis Rams rookie quarterback Sam Bradford after 15 weeks, I'd give him a B-minus. Bradford has carried the Rams to a place they couldn't have gotten without him. Nobody in their right mind would have picked the Rams to be competitive this season, even though they play in the God-awful NFC West. (more…)

As ‘Favre’ as it should go
Posted on 23 Nov 2010 by Al Buzzelli.
Should the soap opera in Minnesota continue with Brett Favre as lead actor? It’s irrational, self-absorbed and utterly upsetting, even for the fans sake, to keep Favre under center for the remainder of the season. In Sunday’s 31-3 laugher against rival Green Bay one bright spot was that wide receiver Sidney Rice was activated off the PUP (physically unable to perform) list and led the Vikin...

QUARTERBACK WATUSI FOR 2011
Posted on 11 Nov 2010 by Christopher Rowe.
Collective bargaining agreements, expanded schedules, concussion reform, salary cap issues are all being debated as there is the possibility of having no NFL in 2011. While Commissioner “Mr. Rogers” Goddell and league owners deliberate over most of these issues, we fans are still paying attention to what happens on the field. As the QB goes, so goes the NFL… but this could be a po...

Monday Morning (Fantasy) Quarterback: Midseason Winners & Losers
Posted on 18 Oct 2010 by Al Buzzelli.
While we wait to watch what Tennessee’s Vince Young and Kenny Britt can do on the road against Jacksonville’s David Garrard, we are close to reaching the midway point of the NFL season, and similar to an elementary school student at this particular point, it’s time for interim grades — fantasy-style. Winners of the First-Half: - Rashard Mendenhall: 5th in rushing yards, runs of 20+...

Eli Manning Leads Week 6 NFL Fantasy Risers and Fallers
Posted on 12 Oct 2010 by Brandon Galvin.
Risers: QB: Eli Manning, NYG Manning, as I expected, had a big game against the Houston Texans. Manning would have exceeded 300 passing yards in Week 5 if Nicks didn’t drop an easy deep pass. He was just three yards shy of 300. He completed three touchdown passes. Nicks calmly stepped out at the one yard line instead of making a play for the end zone, or else Manning would have had four. Al...

Fantasy NFL Week 5 Risers and Fallers
Posted on 5 Oct 2010 by Brandon Galvin.
Risers: QB: David Garrard, JAX Perhaps the Jaguars claiming Trent Edwards off wires last week lit a fire underneath the waning QB. Garrard was on point Week 4 in the upset of the Colts. Garrard completed 17 of 22 attempted passes (77.3 completion percentage) for 163 and two touchdowns. Garrard also rushed five times for 44 yards, including an elusive 25 yard touchdown run. Garrard also did not ...
