The Reds fell to Colorado 9-1 in Cactus League action on Monday in Goodyear. Brad Eldred hit two homers and drove in three to lead the Rockies’ attack. The Reds did well on a busy Sunday afternoon in the Cactus League, with a win and a tie in split squad action. Cincinnati won 4-3 over Oakland at Phoenix, and battled to a 1-1 10-inning tie with the Cubs in Goodyear as the team heads into the final two weeks of preparation for the 2010 season. St. Patty’s Day Brings Losses To Reds

It was not a happy St. Patrick’s Day for the Reds on Wednesday in Goodyear. Cincinnati fell to Milwaukee 5-2 in the afternoon, then dropped an 8-2 decision to Cleveland at night. The Indians, the Reds spring training partners in Goodyear, have beaten the Reds all three times they’ve met this spring.
