Big comeback in San Fran as Cowboys go to 1-1…
Posted on 18 Sep 2011 by Glenn Stants.
Where do I start?, the Dallas Cowboys just came back to beat the San Francisco 49ers 27-24 in OT. I know all you gamblers out there were hoping for Jessie ‘who am I' Holley to run that pass-play into the end-zone for the Cowboys to cover but Cowboys won baby!!!!!. I am the same as everyone in Cowboy Nation who once again was sitting on their couches and saying here we go again, how are ...

Dallas to end pre-season against the Fish of Miami
Posted on 1 Sep 2011 by Glenn Stants.
The last pre-season game for the Dallas Cowboys have the Cowboys heading to Miami to play the Miami ‘fish-Reggie Bush era' Dolphins. Both teams are 2-1 so far this pre-season. Look for the Cowboys to get their starters as much playing time as needed to prepare them for the start of the season. The regualr season opens for the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday September 11th against the Ne...

Cowboy Dream: Clutch Cargo QB
Posted on 31 Jul 2011 by Steven Keys.
There’s no other job like it. Only the Presidency has more marquee. The closest thing to a yellow jersey in North America. It’s the Cadillac, the Stetson, the Jack Daniels of occupations. It’s quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys. Ever since Roger Staubach laced ‘em up and ended the Cowboy curse in SB5 / ‘72 (with help from silent Duane), the Dallas QB has taken on an aura of Texas-sized...

Cowboys Close Out the Season With a Win
Posted on 2 Jan 2011 by David Willow.
In an all but meaningless game for the season the Cowboys pulled out a late victory over the Philadelphia Eagles on a short pass to Jason Witten with 55 seconds left in the game. Third string quarter back Steven McGee led the final drive in his attempt to show that he can be a solid back up in Dallas for the coming seasons. McGee showed a good deal of mobility, running for 55 yards, and though ...

NFL Power Rankings Week 17: Jets, Saints and Chiefs Playoff-Bound, Who’s Next?
Posted on 28 Dec 2010 by Bear Heiser.
The NFL playoff picture looks a bit clearer after the Week 16 slate of games. We now know that the Tennessee Titans, San Francisco 49ers, San Diego Chargers and Oakland Raiders won't be making an appearance in the postseason. The Bears, Eagles and Falcons are all playoff locks in the NFC, joining the Patriots, Jets, Steelers, Ravens and Chiefs in the AFC. The only divisions still up for grabs a...

Dallas loses in Arizona – ‘squid kick’
Posted on 26 Dec 2010 by Glenn Stants.
I guess the best way to start off this blog is to say it was an up-hill battle after less than 5 minutes into the game for the Dallas Cowboys. Before you blinked an eye, got comfortable on the couch, BAM, it was 14-0 Arizona. 2 Jon Kitna interceptions as we in football lingo call it, pick-6 on the first two Cowboy possessions and the game was all but over. Well use that term lightly as ...

NFL Power Rankings Week 16: Patriots, Bears, Falcons and Steelers Playoff Bound
Posted on 21 Dec 2010 by Bear Heiser.
Four teams have clinched a spot in the playoffs. The Bears, Patriots, Steelers and Falcons can rest easier now that their fates are sealed. All that's left to play for is playoff seeding to see who gets home-field advantage. You won't see many changes this week as there weren't many surprises. Hopefully, the parity we've come to love and expect will return in Week 16. Without further delay, my ...

Nothing comes easy to this years Dallas Cowboys
Posted on 19 Dec 2010 by Glenn Stants.
Well I was brainstorming for a headline I thought boy, the Cowboys take a huge lead and end up barely coming away with a victory and hense nothing coming easy to this years squad. The Dallas Cowboys who now sit at 5-9 beat a Washington Redskin squad 33-30 who also now sit at 5-9. We all know how much these two football cities hate each other and that showed with some hard hitting football du...

McFadden, Stewart lead Week 15′s Start’em or Sit’em
Posted on 16 Dec 2010 by Al Buzzelli.
Start’em in Week 15 Darren McFadden (vs. Denver) There’s something about McFadden exposing horrendous rush defenses and then playing doormat to average to good ones. Against defenses ranked 1st to 15th, Run DMF has TOTALED just 61 fantasy points — six games for an average of just over 10 — but against the bottom half of the league, he has totaled 131 fantasy points — five ...

Washington in Dallas – only thing to play for is a little football ‘pride’…….
Posted on 16 Dec 2010 by Glenn Stants.
There will be no role of a ‘spoiler' this weekend as the 4-9 Dallas Cowboys play host to the 5-8 Washington Redskins. These two teams met in week-1 of what was going to be hopefully an optimistic season for both teams, but as any football fan knows, that did not occur and both teams have had faulty seasons and niether will be playing any post-season football this year. Washington open...

Eagles Exorcise Cowboys & Ghosts
Posted on 13 Dec 2010 by Christopher Rowe.
Eagles beat Cowboys. First and foremost, the ghosts of 2009 are dead. The bitter rival who beat the Eagles three times including a wildcard round playoff embarrassment causing Philadelphia roster overhaul have been defeated. After Sunday’s win, all the talk was about DeSean Jackson. His 210-yard performance, his touchdown celebration and, yes, there was a lot to discuss. McCoy and the Eagles ...

Dallas keeps it close in loss to the Michael Vick Philadelphia Eagles
Posted on 13 Dec 2010 by Glenn Stants.
I am sure we all know by now that the Sunday nighter had the Philadelphia Eagles come into Dallas and beat the Dallas Cowboys 30-27. Philly sits at 9-4 and depending on what goes on with tonights re-scheduled game against the Giants and Vikings, Philly sits in a good position to make the post-season this year. Dallas on the other hand sits at 4-9 and for the first time since 2004 will en...
