Well it was as expected, a fast paced game with lots of energy. It took a shootout for the Blue Jackets to win their third straight game as they beat the visiting Edmonton Oilers. The Blue Jackets started their preseason with a 5-2 victory over the Atlanta Thrashers. The forward line of Tom Sestito, Mike Blunden, and Kyle Wilson had a strong game and were responsible for two goals and 5 assists.
