Here's this week's What It Means: 1) Congrats to Matt Kuchar on winning The Players. What an awesome shot at #14 over the tree and an awesome birdie putt at #16 to give himself enough cushion to win. The amazingly consistent Kuchar now has the biggest win of his career and an excellent stepping stone for golf's ultimate prize: a major. I wouldn't put it past him. A new champion at Memorial starts this week's What It Means: 1) Steve Stricker notched his 10th career PGA Tour win today at the Memorial Tournament. He had a lead as big as six at one point on Saturday, but it only wound up being a one stroke victory — one he needed to gut out with clutch par putts on 16 and 17.
