Angels bring out the heavy Met-al today in New York

I said I expected the Angels to sweep the Mets. They did take two of three, and that ain't bad. Did I say that, or did Meat Loaf say it? They don't do it much, but the Angels got good pitching and good hitting on the same day. The 7th ranked Florida Gators had many reasons to be confident heading into their showdown Saturday evening in Tuscaloosa against the top-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide. Then again, there is a reason Alabama entered the season with the nation's top ranking.
