Army football is back. The Black Knights are eligible for postseason play for the first time since 1996 following a 45-28 win over Kent State. With games still remaining on the schedule against Notre Dame and Navy, Army has a chance to make some national noise before all is said and done. Army football midseason report card

After six games, the Army football team sits at 4-2, which is very similar to what I had envisioned prior to the season. There have been some surprises, however. This team could easily be 6-0. A new season means renewed hope for all 120 Division I FBS teams; some are justified in their optimism for the coming season, some are not.
