After a 70-66 defeat to Kansas on Saturday, the Missouri Tigers basketball finished 8-8 in Big 12 play. As a result they are the No. 6 seed in the Big 12 conference tournament, which begins Wednesday in Kansas City. Mizzou Beats Another Illinois School

Missouri Tigers basketball is loving playing against teams from Illinois. In their 12 regular season wins, a quarter of them have come against a school from their eastern boarder. The Tigers scored the first 17 points of the game to propel them to a 97-61 thumping of Northern Illinois. The victory marked the 100th win for head coach Mike Anderson during his reign in Columbia.
