HEAT AT HOME, NO PROBLEM
Posted on 30 Mar 2012 by Sean Eckhardt.
The Miami Heat may struggle on the road, but at home they are unbeatable. At least over the last 15 games they have been. Thursday night they played host to the Dallas Mavericks, the team that took them out in last year's NBA Finals. On this night, however, it would be the Heat that would emerge victorious, 106-85. In a slight bit of irony, it was the Mavs that were the better TEAM last y...

HEAT SEND OFF DWIGHT WITH A SMILE

Miami is coming off back-to-back last ...

You could hear the fans inside the AAA chanting M—V—P, as Cole stood at the free throw line at the end of Tuesday night's game. Yes, it's a little early, and yes, these same fans did that chant for Joel Anthony last season. But you can't bl...

Heat fill a need with Norris Cole
Posted on 24 Jun 2011 by Warren Shaw.
Conventional wisdom coming into Thursday night's NBA Draft was that the Miami Heat would be selecting a point guard. Team sources indicated earlier in the week that if all things remained the same (with their pick) they would most likely draft a general. Things didn't exactly remain the same but the mission was still accomplished. Miami found a willing and familiar partner in the Minnesota Timb...
