Fantasy Football Week 16 Start’ems
Posted on 21 Dec 2012 by David Willow.
Quarterbacks Tony Romo – The Cowboys have been on a roll lately and Romo has benefitted from the return of DeMarco Murray as well as the emergence of Dez Bryant. With an extremely favorable match up against the Saints he is a must start this week. Cam Newton – After starting off slow this season, Newton has bounced back and may be leading teams that were able to survive the early season dro...

Fantasy Football Week 14 Start’ems
Posted on 6 Dec 2012 by David Willow.
Quarterbacks Andrew Luck – He has been slinging the ball all over for the past few weeks and had strong box score last week putting up 391 yards and 4 TDs in the Colt’s comeback victory. He did throw 3 INTs, but Luck is on a tear right now and is worth starting in your fantasy playoffs. He gets a weak Titans defense and could have a big day. Eli Manning – He’s been a lot better since re...

Skins Giants MNF!
Posted on 3 Dec 2012 by Mercedes Green.
The Washington Redskins host the New York Giants tonight for MNF. With the Cowboys beating the Eagles last night, the Redskins need to win in order to keep 2nd place in the NFC East. A win tonight will put them 1 win away from first place. Seeing how they still have to play the Cowboys AND the Eagles, Ws mathematically puts them in the Playoffs. One can only hope. Yes the Giants are goo...

Redskins Take Third With Win Over Eagles
Posted on 19 Nov 2012 by Mercedes Green.
I thought it was hard being a Redskins fan. I would hate to be an Eagles fan after that dismal performance yesterday. The Redskins D took advantage of the Rookie QB Foles and got 4 sacks on him. Foles also threw 2 interceptions very early in the 1st quarter, of which the Skins got 7 points from. The Eagles’ poor showing aside, this was RG3’s day. I am still amazed to watch this guy ...

Redskins Not Messing Around with Free Agency
Posted on 14 Mar 2012 by Mercedes Green.
On the first day of free agency the Redskins are already being very aggressive, despite having half the $$ available in their salary cap because of the uncapped 2010 season and front-loading contracts. The Redskins have signed WR Josh Morgan, formerly of the 49ers, to a 5 year $12 over the first 2 years ($7.5 million guaranteed and the last 3 can be voided). Morgan’s stats: 131 catches, 9...

Fantasy Week 5 Waivers
Posted on 4 Oct 2011 by David Willow.
Another week another injury, but thankfully this week's group of unfortunates haven't continued the trend of season ending injuries. The most notable injuries have been to Andre Johnson, who looked to have a major injury to his leg, but later reports suggested it was minor hamstring injury that will keep him out for around 2-3 weeks. The Steelers' Rashard Mendenhall was also hindered by a hamst...

AFC Wild Card Preview- New York Jets (11-5) at Indianapolis Colts (10-6)
Posted on 8 Jan 2011 by Adrian Fedkiw.
With the win over Tennessee last Sunday, the Colts solidified their ninth consecutive playoff appearance. Yes, it was a down year. Yes, there were a lot of injuries. But, yes, they are back in the postseason once again after winning their final four games. Surprise, surprise. Back in 2006, Indianapolis won the Super Bowl as a three seed. Déjà vu perhaps? The Jets come in reeling wit...

RAIDERS ARE DONE
Posted on 27 Dec 2010 by Mike Cid.
The Oakland Raiders came into Sunday’s game needing a win against the Indianapolis Colts, and a loss by the Kansas City Chiefs to stay alive in the AFC West race. Neither of these happened. Before the Raiders even took the field, the Kansas City Chiefs were dominating the Tennessee Titans 34-14 early in the fourth quarter. As Oakland started the game, time was winding down in the Kansas C...

Colts vs Raiders Preview
Posted on 22 Dec 2010 by Gyasmine.
Injuries have been the consistent hindrance on the Colts squad for most of the season and now the Colts officially have lost one of their wide receiver’s Austin Collie after placing him on season ending injury reserve. Collie suffered his third concussion of the season against Jacksonville due to a hit that left him motionless on the field for minutes. He had missed four of the past five game...

McFadden, Stewart lead Week 15′s Start’em or Sit’em
Posted on 16 Dec 2010 by Al Buzzelli.
Start’em in Week 15 Darren McFadden (vs. Denver) There’s something about McFadden exposing horrendous rush defenses and then playing doormat to average to good ones. Against defenses ranked 1st to 15th, Run DMF has TOTALED just 61 fantasy points — six games for an average of just over 10 — but against the bottom half of the league, he has totaled 131 fantasy points — five ...

Week 10 (and beyond) pickups: Quarterbacks Sam Bradford (available in 57% of leagues) Back-to-back 15-point performances have Bradford in a good position against the Atlanta Falcons this week (23rd against the pass) and the Arizona Cardinals (27th against the pass) in Week 13. Colt McCoy (available in 93% of leagues) The Browns are hot as of late and playing against Jacksonville this week (29th...

NFL Week 10, The Midseason: Some Like It Hot
Posted on 11 Nov 2010 by Al Buzzelli.
Fantasy football, like the midseason period for NFL organizations can be a stressful time to make difficult choices. Whether to pickup Minnesota’s Sidney Rice, Tennessee’s Nate Washington or even Arizona’s LaRod Stevens-Howling can be equally as contemplative for NFL owners and coaches as they have to deal with their own dilemmas. Dallas’ Jerry Jones didn’t seem to have that tough a t...
