Cardinals Soar in Second Half, Defeat Connecticut, 73-58
Posted on 14 Jan 2013 by John Buffone.
Apparently no. 1 Louisville (16-1) didn’t know their game against Connecticut (12-4) started until the final twenty minutes. Luckily for the Cardinals, the Huskies didn’t realize that the game continued after the first twenty minutes and the Cardinals ultimately prevailed, 73-58. Russ Smith kept the no. 1 Cards in the game while Peyton Siva was on the bench. The first part of the game could...

Posted on 15 Nov 2010 by Glenn Stants.
New Coach, new results, the Dallas Cowboys went into New Jersey aka the Meadowlands and beat the New York ‘football' Giants 33-20 in chapter 1 of the new Head Coach game in Dallas Nation. I could say the Cowboys turned the lights off to the Giants with the 11 minute power outage that occured. I will not dwell that Dallas has turned the page in the new era and they are Super Bowl ...

Western Conference Semi-Final Game #1 Review – San Jose Sharks vs Detroit Red Wings
Posted on 30 Apr 2010 by Mark Bates.
Hi Everyone Detroit went into the Shark Tank (HP Pavilion) on Thursday and wanted to topple the highest remaining seed in these playoffs. With the stats all on the Wings side who could argue as Detroit was 3-0-1 through the season against the Sharks, and being 2-1 in playoff series against them and out scoring them 64-36 over those 3 series. Mike Babcock had said survive the first 10 minutes ...

Posted on 21 Apr 2010 by Mark Bates.
Hi Everyone Joe Louis Arena was once again sold out as Detroit played host to Phoenix once more in the D before the series switched back to Phoenix. The crowd was rocking wanting Detroit to come out with a win so that Phoenix would not have a strangle hold on the series. The first period saw a couple close calls for the Wings when a stray shot from Filpulla literally danced across the goal li...

They Clinched!
Posted on 5 Apr 2010 by Mark Bates.
Hi Everyone So half of my prediction did not come true, Detroit cannot clinch the division, but we did clinch a playoff spot! hooray! It was tough at some points but like always they come through, granted no one would think they could of clinched losing 2 very close games to Nashville and Philadelphia respectively. Thomas Holmstrom was in on all the goals with 3 assists but Nashville would ...

Can The Wings Take The Division?
Posted on 2 Apr 2010 by Mark Bates.
Hey Everyone So my topic for today is can they take the division, hard to believe this is even possible as at some points during the season the Wings did not even look like they would make an appearance in the post season for the first time in nearly 2 decades, but it is possible now. They sit 3rd in the Central Division, 1 point behind the Preds and 6 points behind the leading Blackhawks. Ca...

The Wings get another win, unlike last time Detroit squeezed through with a 5-4 win over the already eliminated Edmonton Oilers now with 93 points and 8 wins up on 9th place Calgary, Detroit seems to have nearly clinched a playoff spot. Detroit has won there last 6 they are hot at the right times for sure and once again healthy, the woes of the early season have vanished and the Wings once ag...
