Angels headed home after being tripped up on the road
Posted on 16 Apr 2012 by Bill Mahoney.
Time to come home. I am sure the Angels will be happy to be off the road. They should have gone 4-2 on the 6 game trip that took them to Minnesota and New York. Instead, they went 2-4, and are looking up at the all the teams in the West. The Halos gave up 34 runs in the 6 games, while scoring 31, so I guess a 2-4 was about right. I wonder if he still thinks that after watching Rich Thompson pitch on Saturday night. I recently wrote that Thompson should beimmediately pulled from the game if he walks the first batter he faced. Doubleheader, game 2, 10th inning, Saturday, Thomp...

What fun is this? The Angels are playing real good right now, and they are led by the man himself, Vernon Wells. I'll admit, I have nothing little good to say about Wells since he stepped on the field in April. Loads of strike outs, not always the best outfield play, and lack of enjoyment from the 24 million dollar man. Lately, though he has been a man on a mission. Through 2 games against the...
