Rockies Wish May Would Go Away

Rockies wish they would fall asleep on April 30th and wake up on June 1st after two awful May campaigns in a row. There's an old saying in sports: defense wins championships. In baseball, defense is part of the game, but in this reference it's pitching (along with a good defense) that wins championships.
