The Devils retired the jersey of long time Defenseman Scott Niedermayer and with the Devils playing well there was a positive atmosphere at Prudential Center. Devils Rally to Top Sens

The Devils rallied so did the senators but New Jersey escaped with two points. The first period was totally flat and the Devils finished it down 2-0 from goals by surprising leading goal scorer in the NHL, Milan Michalek, and Nick Foligno. This caused Deboer to start Hedberg in the second period; as always no idea if Brodeur was replaced because of poor play or just to try and generate a spark....

Canes Trade Deadline Game Plan

As the February 28 NHL trade deadline approaches, the Carolina Hurricanes are in a very interesting position.
